Camming Con Moves Dates for 1st Show

MIAMI — The Camming Con conference announced today that it has moved the dates for its inaugural show to July 31 through Aug. 3.

The trade show will be held at Eden Roc Hotel in Miami’s South Beach.

“We were waiting to release to the industry our participating sponsors when it was brought to our attention that the AW Summit dates were the same weekend as we had originally planned,” show organizer Clinton Cox said.

He added, “Conferences for this industry are new, so for a brand to represent themselves at one conference is a new venture, to try and represent themselves at two conferences simultaneously separate hemispheres is not possible. Every brand we were working with told us they did not want to have to choose. We reached out to AW Summit to see what we could come up with and moving our show later into the summer was the right move.

“We don't want brands to have to choose what territory is most important. We hope this sends a strong message to all segments of the live chat industry that we are producing this platform for the long term and to push the evolution of the industry.”

The show promises more than 100 modelsalong with cam sites, card payment providers, hardware and software providers, and advertising platforms.

Models will represent sites including Streamate, Chaturbate, Naked, MyFreeCams, Jasmin, Imlive and Cam4, the organizers said.
